Payment Terms<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A 50% down payment is required to secure scheduling. The remaining balance is due upon completion of services.<\/li>\n<li>Full prepayment is accepted but not required.<\/li>\n<li>All down payments are non-refundable, as materials, labor scheduling, and logistics are allocated upon acceptance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>2. Scheduling, Weather &amp; Seasonal Limitations<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Service dates are scheduled based on availability, weather conditions, and operational logistics.<\/li>\n<li>Elegant Estates reserves the right to reschedule services due to:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Weather conditions<\/li>\n<li>Freezing temperatures<\/li>\n<li>Unsafe working conditions<\/li>\n<li>Equipment or staffing availability<\/li>\n<li>Site readiness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Certain services (including washing and installation) cannot be performed in freezing conditions or when soils are frozen.<\/p>\n<h2>3. Cancellation &amp; Rescheduling Policy<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 48 hours\u2019 notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.<\/li>\n<li>Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours of scheduled service may be subject to a service fee to account for lost scheduling, labor allocation, and logistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>4. Property Access &amp; Utilities<\/h2>\n<p>The customer agrees to provide clear, safe access to all service areas.<\/p>\n<h3>Water Usage:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Municipal water: Customer supply will be used<\/li>\n<li>Well systems: Customer may allow use or request that Elegant Estates supply water (recommended to protect well systems)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Electricity:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer agrees to provide access to electrical outlets when required for service or installation work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>5. Pet &amp; Safety Considerations<\/h2>\n<p>Customers are responsible for keeping pets safely secured during service.<\/p>\n<h3>Wash Services:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>While cleaning solutions are applied responsibly and diluted, pets should not be allowed to drink from puddles or wet surfaces during or immediately after service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>EcoGuard Applications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>No pet or barefoot contact is recommended while surfaces are wet<\/li>\n<li>Normal use may resume once surfaces are fully dry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>6. Pre-Existing Conditions &amp; Liability<\/h2>\n<p>Elegant Estates is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, whether visible or not, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deteriorated siding, roofing, or structural materials<\/li>\n<li>Improper flashing or sealing<\/li>\n<li>Window seal failure or fogging<\/li>\n<li>Loose or failing gutters, brackets, or seams<\/li>\n<li>Cracked, compromised, or improperly installed surfaces<\/li>\n<li>Oxidation becoming visible after cleaning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cleaning and restoration services may reveal underlying issues that were not visible prior to service.<\/p>\n<h2>7. General Service Limitations<\/h2>\n<p>The following conditions are outside the control of Elegant Estates and are not considered service defects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Biological regrowth over time<\/li>\n<li>Efflorescence returning<\/li>\n<li>Environmental staining<\/li>\n<li>Surface wear due to age, UV exposure, or prior neglect<\/li>\n<li>Moisture-related issues from existing construction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>8. Marketing &amp; Documentation<\/h2>\n<p>Elegant Estates reserves the right to take before-and-after photos for documentation, quality control, and marketing purposes.<\/p>\n<h2>9. Warranty Overview<\/h2>\n<p>Warranty offerings vary by service and are outlined separately.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Roof Washing: 3-Year Guarantee<\/li>\n<li>House Washing: 1-Year Guarantee<\/li>\n<li>Hardscape Installation: 5-Year Warranty<\/li>\n<li>Paver Repairs: Not warrantied<\/li>\n<li>Landscape Plantings: Not warrantied<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Full warranty details are available separately.<\/p>\n<h2>Service-Specific Terms<\/h2>\n<h3>10. Power \/ Pressure Washing<\/h3>\n<p>Pressure washing may expose pre-existing defects such as cracks, deterioration, or embedded staining.<\/p>\n<p>Elegant Estates is not responsible for damage resulting from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre-existing structural weaknesses<\/li>\n<li>Improper installation<\/li>\n<li>Aged or deteriorated materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>11. Soft Washing (House Washing)<\/h3>\n<p>Soft washing uses low pressure and specialized detergents.<\/p>\n<p>This service:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Does not remove oxidation<\/li>\n<li>Does not remove artillery fungus or deeply embedded staining<\/li>\n<li>May reveal oxidation or surface wear<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Water intrusion may occur if structures are improperly sealed. Elegant Estates is not responsible for such conditions.<\/p>\n<h3>12. Roof Washing<\/h3>\n<p>Roof cleaning is performed using low-pressure application in accordance with industry standards, including ARMA guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Important expectations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Results may take days, weeks, or longer to fully develop<\/li>\n<li>No high-pressure washing is used<\/li>\n<li>Some staining may remain if caused by granule loss or roof deterioration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Elegant Estates is not responsible for leaks resulting from pre-existing roof defects.<\/p>\n<h3>13. Paver Cleaning<\/h3>\n<p>Paver cleaning removes surface buildup but does not correct:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Joint failure<\/li>\n<li>Base instability<\/li>\n<li>Drainage issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some staining may remain depending on condition.<\/p>\n<h3>14. Paver Restoration<\/h3>\n<p>Paver restoration includes deep cleaning and joint material replacement.<\/p>\n<p>This service does not correct:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Structural base failure<\/li>\n<li>Subgrade movement<\/li>\n<li>Long-term drainage issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Important notes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Joint materials (including polymeric and resin sand) naturally degrade over time<\/li>\n<li>Freeze-thaw cycles may impact performance<\/li>\n<li>Improper original installation may result in future joint failure<\/li>\n<li>Efflorescence may return<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Repairs are not included unless specified and are billed separately.<\/p>\n<h3>15. Paver Repair<\/h3>\n<p>Paver repairs address localized issues only.<\/p>\n<p>Repairs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not correct underlying systemic issues<\/li>\n<li>Are not warrantied<\/li>\n<li>May be impacted by surrounding conditions beyond control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>16. EcoGuard Treatment<\/h3>\n<p>EcoGuard is a preventative treatment designed to slow biological growth.<\/p>\n<p>It is not:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A sealer<\/li>\n<li>A cleaning service<\/li>\n<li>A permanent solution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EcoGuard:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Does not prevent dirt accumulation<\/li>\n<li>Does not stop growth entirely<\/li>\n<li>Requires repeat applications for best results (typically twice per season)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>17. Fence &amp; Deck Cleaning<\/h3>\n<p>Wood and composite surfaces may experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Furring (raised wood grain)<\/li>\n<li>Splintering<\/li>\n<li>Surface lightening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are natural results of cleaning aged or weathered materials and are not considered damage.<\/p>\n<h3>18. Gutter Services<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Gutter Cleaning (Exterior):<\/strong> Removal of surface organic staining and debris<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gutter Clean-Out:<\/strong> Removal of internal debris and flushing of downspouts<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gutter Brightening:<\/strong> Removal of electrostatic staining (results may vary)<\/p>\n<p>Important notes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brightening effectiveness depends on gutter condition and paint integrity<\/li>\n<li>Older gutters may not respond to brightening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Clean-Out Methods:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manual removal: debris collected<\/li>\n<li>Water flushing: debris may remain on ground<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Elegant Estates is not responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Weak or degraded mounting brackets or wires<\/li>\n<li>Gutter seam leaks or failures<\/li>\n<li>Underground drainage blockages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>19. Specialty Stain Removal<\/h3>\n<p>Not all stains can be fully removed.<\/p>\n<p>Results may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partial removal<\/li>\n<li>Lightening only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Risks may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Surface alteration<\/li>\n<li>Etching<\/li>\n<li>Color variation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Multiple treatments may be required.<\/p>\n<h3>20. Design &amp; Installation Services<\/h3>\n<h4>Design Services<\/h4>\n<p>Design plans and measurements are conceptual and subject to site verification.<\/p>\n<h4>Installation Services<\/h4>\n<p>Elegant Estates is not responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subsurface conditions not visible at time of installation<\/li>\n<li>Soil movement, settlement, or compaction changes<\/li>\n<li>Burrowing animals or subterranean activity (ants, rodents, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Environmental conditions or acts of God<\/li>\n<li>Drainage changes occurring after installation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Use Limitations:<\/strong> Installed surfaces are designed for intended use. Damage resulting from use outside of design specifications (such as vehicular traffic on pedestrian-rated surfaces) is not covered.<\/p>\n<h3>21. Underground Utilities Disclaimer<\/h3>\n<p>All excavation work follows UFPO (Underground Facilities Protection Organization) guidelines, including utility marking prior to digging.<\/p>\n<p>Elegant Estates is not responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unmarked underground utilities<\/li>\n<li>Incorrectly marked utilities<\/li>\n<li>Private or undocumented utility lines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Terms and Conditions Elegant Estates of the Finger Lakes, Inc.
